Top Choice Silage Enhancer ensures a fast, cool fermentation combined with long term stability — essential for all year round feeding.
Top Choice is packed in 50-tonne treatment units for flexibility and to eliminate waste. The 1-litre pots are used to pre-mix the live bacteria, ensuring purity and simplifying mixing.
The specific strain of Lactobacillus brevis acid-producing bacteria makes Top Choice Silage Enhancer unique amongst silage inoculants. The lactic acid producing bacteria significantly reduce aerobic spoilage in high dry matter grass, whole-crop, and maize silage, reducing heating and minimising the effect of spoilage organisms. This minimises clamp losses.
Lactic acid producing bacteria: 50,000,000,000 cfu/g* — Pediococcus acidilactici (NCIMB 30005), Lactobacillus plantarum (DSMZ 16627), Lactobacillus fermentum (NCIMB 30169), Lactobacillus brevis (DSMZ 16680). Dextrose carrier. *Biological activity relates to min activity at time of manufacture.
