Agristock Farm Mix
What Is It
The Pure Live Yeast for Growing & Finishing Cattle
Agristock Farm Mix is a pure live yeast supplement based on Biocell yeast, designed to increase performance and feed conversion in both growing & finishing cattle and high performance dairy cows.
The pure live yeast increases the numbers and activity of specific lactate utilising rumen bacteria, improves fibre digestion and increases feed intake. Production of rumen volatile fatty acids is increased, improving energy supply for extra finish and daily liveweight gain.
High starch diets often lead to a build-up of damaging lactic acid in the rumen, leading to acidosis. Farm Mix helps remove lactic acid more rapidly, creating a stable rumen pH and enabling the essential rumen bacteria to complete the effective digestion of fibre and increasing the supply of energy and protein.
All our products are manufactured by one of Europe’s leading animal nutrition companies to the highest quality standards.
Why It Matters
Why Include Yeast as a Separate Ingredient?
- For best results, yeast must be fed at the recommended rate — Agristock Farm Mix: 25g for cows / 20g for cattle
- Including in compound feed or blend does not guarantee the correct feeding rate
- What is the inclusion rate in the compound feed or blend?
- Will the yeast survive the compounding process?
- What antagonists are present in the compound or blend to degrade the yeast and reduce effectiveness?
- Biocell yeast is a unique component of any diet, not just another ingredient on the compound or blend label
- The addition of Agristock Farm Mix improves the utilisation of forage (fibre digestion) and reduces purchased feed costs
- Profit margins are improved, and costs are controlled by the correct incorporation of Agristock Farm Mix in the feed on farm
